Second impression. Octavo, pp. 311, [1], [8] catalogue. 42 illustrations to plates including frontispiece portrait of the Author, and map, of which 9 are full page. Publishers’ green cloth with black titles and border. Cover cloth slightly bruised at spine tips and fore-edge. Endpapers a little toned, with bold gift inscription to ffep; frontispiece creased to margins. Text clean and crisp. A Very Good copy.
 
The Author’s first book, “A thrilling account of exploration in the Northern Territory of Australia” (from front cover) by Gateshead born Terry (1899-1981). Terry emigrated to Australia after serving in the First World War, and explored the country in a series of expeditions, mainly for gold prospecting. Scarce.
