Limited edition of 140 copies . Viii , 88 pp. Book Condition: Very Good. Very handsome dark green full calf with gilt titles, bound by Zaehnsdorf of London. Five raised bands, red leather title and date labels, gilt decoration including dentelles, teg; marbled endpapers. Edges lightly rubbed; minor surface scuffing; unobtrusive stain to lower board. Printed armorial bookplate of Walter Hamilton, the art critic, to front pastedown and his signature to second free endpaper; a few notes in Hamilton's hand in the text. Some toning particularly to title page. The author was a noted Northumbrian book collector and some of the content reflects his North Eastern roots. Scarce, particularly in this condition.
