LIMITED EDITION: Number 71 of only 142 copies, with Limitation Number inscribed to lower right-hand corner. Poster approximately 69 cm x 104 cm in colour, depicting Joe Cocker in a central roundel displaying his muscles, with offset lower panel showing Leon Russell playing guitar. Creases to edges and from historic folding, some with minor wear, and several small holes at corners from drawing pins. One trademark neatly blanked out with a square inch of black marker pen, perhaps due to copyright issues. Original poster for the documentary film “Mad Dogs and Englishmen” about Joe Cocker’s tour of the same name, directed by Pierre Adige and produced by Jerry Moss. Leon Russell organised the tour and played alongside Cocker with a band of more than twenty musicians, in a punishing schedule performing in 48 cities and also recording a live album, all of which resulted in chart success and positive reviews.
