Photographic frontispiece of the school with Tankerville House, and 6 plates including staff portraits and drawings of sports costumes; facsimile signatures to letters from the Duchess of Northumberland and Lord Bishop of Newcastle to fore and double-page programme from the first prize giving in 1900 within text. Cream cloth with bottle green and blue stripes, gilt titles to spine, and gilt titles and school crest to upper board. Cloth a little surface soiled, rubbed to edge and bruised at corners; scattered foxing, mainly to prelims and text-block edge. Ownership inscription to ffep; no annotation. A very good copy. School jubilee book published to mark 50 years since its foundation, with contributions from past and present staff members, governors and alumni. Scarce. £28.00
