Octavo, pp. [16] attractive publishers catalogue on yellow paper tipped-in between endpapers, [4] engraved and letterpress title pages, vi, [2] List of Engravings, 228. 48 engravings, of which 46 are full-page plates. Original publishers paper-covered board with printed title label to spine. Joints cracked but holding; minor loss at spine tips and wear to corners; boards surface soiled. Title label soiled with minor loss to edge. Scattered foxing, mainly to textblock edge; ownership inscriptions in ink to ffep and engraved title; no annotation; small loss to corner of rfep. An attractive copy in the original boards.
