FIRST EDITION. Octavo, pp [12], 183. 21 numbered illustrations from photographs to plates as called for. Original brown cloth with black titles to spine in unclipped pictorial dust-jacket. Printed promotional slip for the Author’s “The Surroundings of Fu Hi” loosely inserted. Cover cloth lightly creased at spine tips and bruised at corners. Scattered light foxing; no annotation or inscriptions. Jacket a little toned to spine and lightly creased with very minor loss at spine tips and corners. Overall a Very Good copy in like jacket.
 
A history of Tunbridge Ware, the craft of mosaic work in wood from Kent & Sussex, with illustrations of subjects including the Mansions of the title, and of the craft pieces.
