FIRST EDITION. Octavo, pp vi, 131 in parallel German and English text, with English translation by G E M Anscombe. Dark blue cloth with gilt titles to spine in unclipped grey dust-jacket with blue titles and decoration. Cloth rubbed, particularly to edge with extreme head of spine sunned. Ownership inscription of A E Fisher of Wadham College to front pastedown; scattered foxing mainly to endpapers and prelims. Textblock edge soiled & lightly foxed. Jacket toned, especially to spine, with 2-inch closed tear from upper joint and 1-inch from lower joint; edges a little nicked & creased. A Good copy in like jacket.
 
Volume of the collected survivors of the notebooks used by the Author whilst working on the Tractatus, from the long series that Wittgenstein himself destroyed.
