Large octavo, pp xvi, 281. 18 plates with tissue guards including frontispiece of the Earl of Durham and colour plate of The Butte of Warlencourt. 18 folding maps in pocket to rear. Original green cloth with black titles to spine and black crest to upper board. Spine tips a little rubbed & creased; minor wear to corners. Minor light foxing, mainly to endpapers, prelims and textblock edge. A Very Good copy.
The rarest history of the 8th Battalion, compiled from war diaries, documents and maps provided by past and current members. Scarce, particularly with the full complement of maps.
