Book Condition: Very Good. Two volume matching set. Maroon cloth with gilt titles to spine, blind borders to boards, and decorative panel in gilt to upper and in blind to lower boards. Black endpapers. Spines sunned; edges a little worn and corners bruised. Small stains to front endpapers Vol I; sporadic foxing mainly to endpapers and textblock edge. Gift inscription dated 1885 to William J Thorp to first blank Vol I. Autobiography of Taylor (1800-1886) , the English dramatist, poet and man of letters.
